Minimally Invasive Flapless Surgery on Multiple Sites using the Single Incision Approach (SIA)
With careful planning and with the aid of a CBCT x-ray scan, a less invasive method is used to place the dental implants. By creating a single incision and avoiding a reflected flap, will significantly reduce post-operative pain and discomfort, and shorten the healing period. For this patient, a single incision approach (SIA) is utilized on three implant sites on the same appointment beginning with site #21.

A freehanded implant placement approach is performed for all three implant sites. Here, an implant insertion tool is connected to the implant at site #21 to verify its position and trajectory.
For implant site #28, an implant drill is inserted into the osteotomy (prepared implant space) to verify its position and trajectory before the implant is placed.
After the placement of the implant for site #4, the implant insertion tool is connected to it to verify its position and trajectory.
